Delayed Shipments
Important info on delays on some preorder and backorder products
We have been informed by our supplier and the shipper Dachser that "two consignments are in a truck that is currently being held by UK customs officers; the customs officers have confirmed that the shipments will be released, but they have not yet released them. Dachser are chasing daily, but unfortunately, they are in the customs officers' hands. We are somewhat in uncharted territory here, as Dachser have never had this situation occur before"
Some orders are experiencing abnormal delays due to a delay to two of our incoming pallet shipments being held by UK customs, meaning Backorders are exceeding the usual 4-weeks delivery estimate. We apologise for the delays and are trying to get this resolved as soon as possible - orders will be shipped ASAP once the shipments arrive.
Update 10/06/26:
We have received the following info regarding these two pallet shipments -
"Our understanding is that there is no problem with the consignments themselves, but that customs police found items on the truck which should not have been there, which is why they have held it. Dachser have never had this situation happen before. We've asked Dachser to provide us with a statement on the situation that you can send on to your customers... I was hoping they would have sent this through by the end of today, but they haven't so far - I am sorry. We will chase them again tomorrow.
As mentioned previously, Dachser have told us that customs have confirmed that they will release the consignments, but I am sorry to say that we still don't yet have any further news on the date for when this will happen. We continue to chase daily and we will be in touch as soon as we have any news."
We do apologise for the delays, in almost 5 years of business we have never seen a shipment held for this long by UK customs, and it seems that this is due to exceptional circumstances outside of our and our suppliers control. We have been assured these pallet consignments will be released and delivered - as soon as our shipments arrive orders on these shipments will be prioritised and shipped as soon as possible.
