With a curtain of stars decorating the big stained-glass in the background, and big branches of roses sprouting from marble columns that climb in tendrils, a bestial creature with brown fur, horns, claws, and a tail, wearing formal noble attire, gently conducts a romantic dance with a beautiful young woman with long brown hair. Over a set base that reminds the ballroom of his palace, with the stairs and red carpet in the front, where the peculiar couple is observed by Lumiere, the castle's charismatic but rebellious footman, transformed into a candelabra, followed by the butler Cogsworth, transformed into a clock, and the housekeeper Mrs. Potts, and her son Chip, transformed into a teapot and a teacup respectively, with the entire base decorated. Adding to the line that celebrates Disney's centenary, Iron Studios present the statue "Beauty and the Beast Deluxe - Disney 100th - Disney Classics - Art Scale 1/10", inspired by Disney's 30th animated film of theatre musical, based on the fairy tale La Belle et la Bête by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont.
Iron Studios will also release the statue in a regular version "Beauty and the Beast - Disney 100th - Disney Classics - Art Scale 1/10", with Belle and her pair dancing over a base that reminds the ballroom floor of Beast's castle. And the limited statue "Beauty and the Beast 100 Years - Disney 100th - Disney Classics - Art Scale 1/10", with the couple in love dancing on a similar base of the palace's floor, followed by another extremely decorated silver base with a celebratory front plaque of Disney's 100th anniversary, a more than special item for fans and collectors to celebrate and take part on the centenary, made in a limited edition with only 100 units available.
In the France of the 18th century, a young and rich, but also cruel and selfish prince, humiliates an old beggar in a cold winter night when she offered him a rose in exchange for shelter. The old lady revealed to be an enchantress of great beauty, and even though he begged for mercy, to punish him for the lack of love in his heart the enchantress cursed him by transforming him into a horrendous beast, and his servants into anthropomorphic household objects. The rose that the enchantress offered him was magic and the spell could only be broken if the prince learned how to love someone and was loved back, but if the last petal of the rose fell, the spell could not be broken anymore. After 10 years, a young book lover called Belle, daughter of an eccentric inventor named Maurice, voluntarily put herself as prisoner of the Beast in the place of her father, after he got lost in the forest and sought refuge invading Beast's castle and being locked up because of that. With time they started to fall in love with each other, giving Beast's a chance to break the spell and his curse, and get back to his human form together with his servants.
Released in 1991, universally praised by critics and public alike, the movie was nominated for many awards, winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy (the first time for an animated feature film). Beauty and the Beast was the first animation to be nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award, and the only animated movie until 2009 with more than 6 nominations. It also won two prizes, Best Original Score, and Best Original Song. Preordering allows you to guarantee purchasing a product. Preorders will have an estimated release date, once the item is delivered to us by the manufacturer we will ship your order as soon as possible - please be aware that although we give release estimates given to us by the manufacturers these are subject to change and can mean delays to release by weeks or even months. Release delays can be viewed in the Updates section.
EU and International orders are sent complete once all items (including preorders, backorders and in stock items) are available. Please make separate orders if you would like items shipped at different times.
Please be aware that European and International orders may be subject to customs and import fees depending on the country’s import laws.
Most products that are preorders can either be paid in full or with a partial deposit. For partial deposits you will be charged the deposit amount shown, when the item(s) are available and the order is ready to be shipped we will contact by email with an invoice that will allow you to pay the remaining amount, which will be the price when the order was placed (even if the price has gone up between release we will charge the original 'Pay Now' price at the time of ordering) - we allow up to 14 days to pay the remaining balance of a preorder unless agreed otherwise by Hobby Figures. Preorders that are paid fully will be shipped immediately after the item(s) on the order arrive to us.
UK orders that have preorders with different release dates or with items that are currently in stock will be shipped separately as and when they are available. Worldwide orders will be shipped once all items are available
While we fulfil the vast majority of preorders occasionally cancellations for preorder products may occur due to manufacturer product cancellation (such as licensing issues) or due to stock allocations. Full refunds will be provided in the rare case we cannot fulfil item(s).
Cancellations
Products marked as a 'Preorder' are not eligible for refunds or cancellations. As preorders and backorders are a special request item we cannot accept cancellations or returns on these items unless the item is damaged or the wrong product is received, in the case where a deposit has been paid if the customer refuses to pay the remaining balance when the product(s) on the order arrive and are ready to be shipped then the customer will forfeit the deposit paid and product(s) on the order. By preordering an item you accept that the item cannot be returned unless agreed by us, please contact us at contact@hobbyfigures.co.uk if a defective or incorrect item is sent.
Please note that preorder delivery dates are estimated and may be subject to change due to manufacturer or shipping delays. Cancellations on preorder products are not permitted due to changing estimated dates unless there are excessive delays (1+ year) from the original ETA (confirmed on the order confirmation email sent after the order is placed).
