This project is available in two versions to suit your collection: the streamlined Standard Ver. and the ultimate DX Ver., representing the most fully realized expression of the project.
Rather than being a simple refinement, the CARBOTIX Evangelion Unit-01 was designed around the concept of incorporating the functional details and structural elements one might expect if Evangelion Unit-01 truly existed. The figure flawlessly captures the iconic proportions and sharp, agile silhouette from the Rebuild of Evangelion films, blending a tense, dynamic sculpt with a modern design sensibility that stays true to the original.

DX Ver. (Includes Cage)
Building upon the masterfully engineered sculpt and articulation of Evangelion Unit-01, the DX Ver. expands the display experience into a complete and immersive representation of the Evangelion universe.
The main figure and weaponry—including the Pallet Rifle, Progressive Knife, and the Spear of Cassius—are designed to recreate a wide array of iconic scenarios.
Strategically integrated die-cast parts and advanced ratchet joints deliver both a heavy, premium weight and solid posing stability. The robust architecture centered around the shoulders and hips maintains flawless balance even during dynamic action, while the minimized gaps between joints ensure a seamless, high-end silhouette from any angle.
The defining feature of the DX Ver. is the Cage, which seamlessly integrates with the Evangelion Restraint/Transport Platform Base. This Cage enhances the scale and dramatic presence of Evangelion's launch sequence, transforming a premium figure into a complete, cinematic scene.
Engineered with a dual-sided concept, Cage offers two distinct display experiences:
- The Front Face: Captures the structural tension and industrial atmosphere of a hangar.
- The Rear Face: Inspired by the Armament Lift Buildings of Neo Tokyo-3, it recreates the iconic battlefield aesthetic while providing highly functional storage for your weapons and accessories.

Preordering allows you to guarantee purchasing a product. Preorders will have an estimated release date, once the item is delivered to us by the manufacturer we will ship your order as soon as possible - please be aware that although we give release estimates given to us by the manufacturers these are subject to change and can mean delays to release by weeks or even months. Release delays can be viewed in the Updates section.
EU and International orders are sent complete once all items (including preorders, backorders and in stock items) are available. Please make separate orders if you would like items shipped at different times.
Please be aware that European and International orders may be subject to customs and import fees depending on the country’s import laws.
Most products that are preorders can either be paid in full or with a partial deposit. For partial deposits you will be charged the deposit amount shown, when the item(s) are available and the order is ready to be shipped we will contact by email with an invoice that will allow you to pay the remaining amount, which will be the price when the order was placed (even if the price has gone up between release we will charge the original 'Pay Now' price at the time of ordering) - we allow up to 6 weeks to pay the remaining balance of a preorder unless agreed otherwise by Hobby Figures. Preorders that are paid fully will be shipped immediately after the item(s) on the order arrive to us.
UK orders that have preorders with different release dates or with items that are currently in stock will be shipped separately as and when they are available. Worldwide orders will be shipped once all items are available
While we fulfil the vast majority of preorders occasionally cancellations for preorder products may occur due to manufacturer product cancellation (such as licensing issues) or due to stock allocations. Full refunds will be provided in the rare case we cannot fulfil item(s).
Cancellations
Products marked as a 'Preorder' are not eligible for refunds or cancellations. As preorders and backorders are a special request item we cannot accept cancellations or returns on these items unless the item is damaged or the wrong product is received, in the case where a deposit has been paid if the customer refuses to pay the remaining balance when the product(s) on the order arrive and are ready to be shipped then the customer will forfeit the deposit paid and product(s) on the order. By preordering an item you accept that the item cannot be returned unless agreed by us, please contact us at contact@hobbyfigures.co.uk if a defective or incorrect item is sent.
Please note that preorder delivery dates are estimated and may be subject to change due to manufacturer or shipping delays. Cancellations on preorder products are not permitted due to changing estimated dates unless there are excessive delays (1+ year) from the original ETA (confirmed on the order confirmation email sent after the order is placed).
