At the threshold of his comfortable, familiar life stands Bilbo Baggins. In one hand rests a curious contract, inked by dwarves and laden with promise. In the other, a simple walking stick, as his feet already feel the pull of distant roads. It is a small moment, a hobbit closing his gate, yet within it an adventure begins, and a humble heart turns toward the wide world beyond the comfort of home.
It's a fine thing, starting an adventure. Endless possibilities stretch out before you. There is a special kind of magic to it.
It is that very magic that entices Bilbo from his warm and comfortable hobbit-hole, prompting him to take a leap of faith and step out into the wider world of Middle-earth. Sculptor Jorgelina Yeme has expertly captured that magical moment, preserving the turning point of Bilbo's journey in miniature form.
His attire, a tidy green waistcoat, auburn ascot, and sturdy brown trousers beneath a rich burgundy coat, speaks to the comfort and prosperity of life at Bag End. In contrast, the hastily grabbed dwarven contract is laden with clauses, its parchment crowded with elegant script and meticulous notes.
In his other hand he carries a trusty walking stick; perhaps an underestimation of the trials ahead, or perhaps simply a reflection of the innocence and practicality of Shire life. An old wooden gate rests behind him, serving as both a literal and metaphorical threshold between the life he knows and the adventure that awaits.
Finally, a simple smile rests upon his face. Content in a decision no doubt much pondered, he stands unknowingly on the edge of a journey destined to change the history of Middle-earth forever.

Preordering allows you to guarantee purchasing a product. Preorders will have an estimated release date, once the item is delivered to us by the manufacturer we will ship your order as soon as possible - please be aware that although we give release estimates given to us by the manufacturers these are subject to change and can mean delays to release by weeks or even months. Release delays can be viewed in the Updates section.
EU and International orders are sent complete once all items (including preorders, backorders and in stock items) are available. Please make separate orders if you would like items shipped at different times.
Please be aware that European and International orders may be subject to customs and import fees depending on the country’s import laws.
Most products that are preorders can either be paid in full or with a partial deposit. For partial deposits you will be charged the deposit amount shown, when the item(s) are available and the order is ready to be shipped we will contact by email with an invoice that will allow you to pay the remaining amount, which will be the price when the order was placed (even if the price has gone up between release we will charge the original 'Pay Now' price at the time of ordering) - we allow up to 6 weeks to pay the remaining balance of a preorder unless agreed otherwise by Hobby Figures. Preorders that are paid fully will be shipped immediately after the item(s) on the order arrive to us.
UK orders that have preorders with different release dates or with items that are currently in stock will be shipped separately as and when they are available. Worldwide orders will be shipped once all items are available
While we fulfil the vast majority of preorders occasionally cancellations for preorder products may occur due to manufacturer product cancellation (such as licensing issues) or due to stock allocations. Full refunds will be provided in the rare case we cannot fulfil item(s).
Cancellations
Products marked as a 'Preorder' are not eligible for refunds or cancellations. As preorders and backorders are a special request item we cannot accept cancellations or returns on these items unless the item is damaged or the wrong product is received, in the case where a deposit has been paid if the customer refuses to pay the remaining balance when the product(s) on the order arrive and are ready to be shipped then the customer will forfeit the deposit paid and product(s) on the order. By preordering an item you accept that the item cannot be returned unless agreed by us, please contact us at contact@hobbyfigures.co.uk if a defective or incorrect item is sent.
Please note that preorder delivery dates are estimated and may be subject to change due to manufacturer or shipping delays. Cancellations on preorder products are not permitted due to changing estimated dates unless there are excessive delays (1+ year) from the original ETA (confirmed on the order confirmation email sent after the order is placed).
