This product includes both the “AZ-17 Ultra Saurus” and the “AZ-17EX Gravity Cannon (exclusive to the Ultra Saurus)” as a set.
The “AZ-17 Ultra Saurus” features a motorized unit that, when activated, allows it to perform dynamic, lifelike dinosaur-style walking motions.
It walks dynamically via motorized movement, swinging its long neck back and forth and its tail widely from side to side.
The Zoid Cores built into the eyes and chest light up with LEDs.
Includes 6 standard soldier figures that can be seated in the cockpit. (Attached to the sprue; unpainted.)
In sync with its walking motion, the 360mm Linear Cannon and AZ 90mm Triple Pulse Laser Gun move up and down, and the propellers on the sides of the abdomen rotate.
When the switch is turned ON with the communication antenna on the catapult folded down, the walking mechanism stops, and the transformation mechanism activates, shifting into an underwater submersion mode with the neck lowered.
In addition to ON and OFF, the switch features a “Display Mode” that illuminates only the LEDs.
The “AZ-17 Ultra Saurus Exclusive Gravity Cannon” marks the first three-dimensional model of the Gravity Cannon as a commercial product.
Not only can it walk while mounted on the “AZ-17 Ultra Zaurus” main unit, but it can also recreate the firing motion. (The Planetary Sight projectile will not be fired.) When the switch is turned ON with the communication antenna on the deck folded down, the walking mechanism stops, and the model automatically performs a sequence of movements: from loading to assuming a firing stance, aiming, and firing.
By attaching the included effect parts, you can recreate the scene of the moment it fires.
Furthermore, the DX version includes ultra-small Zoid microfigures, a “Moonbay” pilot figure, and a clear canopy parts runner as bonus parts.
The seated Moonbay figure can be placed inside the cockpit.
Six types of microfigures are included: “Blade Liger,” “Lightning Saix” “Dibison,” “Storm Sworder,” “Geno Breaker,” and “Iron Kong PK.”
By reconfiguring the Blade Liger microfigure, you can recreate the launch scene from the series finale. (The Blade Liger itself does not launch.)

Preordering allows you to guarantee purchasing a product. Preorders will have an estimated release date, once the item is delivered to us by the manufacturer we will ship your order as soon as possible - please be aware that although we give release estimates given to us by the manufacturers these are subject to change and can mean delays to release by weeks or even months. Release delays can be viewed in the Updates section.
EU and International orders are sent complete once all items (including preorders, backorders and in stock items) are available. Please make separate orders if you would like items shipped at different times.
Please be aware that European and International orders may be subject to customs and import fees depending on the country’s import laws.
Most products that are preorders can either be paid in full or with a partial deposit. For partial deposits you will be charged the deposit amount shown, when the item(s) are available and the order is ready to be shipped we will contact by email with an invoice that will allow you to pay the remaining amount, which will be the price when the order was placed (even if the price has gone up between release we will charge the original 'Pay Now' price at the time of ordering) - we allow up to 6 weeks to pay the remaining balance of a preorder unless agreed otherwise by Hobby Figures. Preorders that are paid fully will be shipped immediately after the item(s) on the order arrive to us.
UK orders that have preorders with different release dates or with items that are currently in stock will be shipped separately as and when they are available. Worldwide orders will be shipped once all items are available
While we fulfil the vast majority of preorders occasionally cancellations for preorder products may occur due to manufacturer product cancellation (such as licensing issues) or due to stock allocations. Full refunds will be provided in the rare case we cannot fulfil item(s).
Cancellations
Products marked as a 'Preorder' are not eligible for refunds or cancellations. As preorders and backorders are a special request item we cannot accept cancellations or returns on these items unless the item is damaged or the wrong product is received, in the case where a deposit has been paid if the customer refuses to pay the remaining balance when the product(s) on the order arrive and are ready to be shipped then the customer will forfeit the deposit paid and product(s) on the order. By preordering an item you accept that the item cannot be returned unless agreed by us, please contact us at contact@hobbyfigures.co.uk if a defective or incorrect item is sent.
Please note that preorder delivery dates are estimated and may be subject to change due to manufacturer or shipping delays. Cancellations on preorder products are not permitted due to changing estimated dates unless there are excessive delays (1+ year) from the original ETA (confirmed on the order confirmation email sent after the order is placed).
